The 2010 Asian Science Camp (ASC) will be held August 17th – 22nd in Mumbai, India. It will involve about 200 final year high school students from the Asian region (and accompanying teachers), who will learn directly from Nobel Laureates and other eminent scientists in the fields of physics, chemistry and biology.
The Asian Science Camp will provide the successful applicants with an invaluable opportunity to further develop their interest in science and mix with some of the best and brightest in the Asian region.
The Maurice Wilkins Centre will provide travel scholarships for two Year 13 students and one teacher to attend the 2010 Asian Science Camp. The scholarship will cover the full cost of return economy class travel from New Zealand (nearest airport to applicant’s home address) to India. Other costs will be covered by the ASC Committee.
